Abstract

Financial analysis is a process synthesis and summarization of financial and operative data embodied in the financial statements with a view of getting an
insight into the operative activities of the business enterprises. The financial statement provides a summarized view of the financial positions and operations of a firm. Therefore, much can be learnt about a firm from a careful examination of its financial statements an invaluable documents/performance reports. The analysis of financialstatements is thus, an important aid to financial analysis. It has been rightly said that business needs money to make more money. Hence, efficient  management of everybusiness enterprise is closely linked with efficient management of its finance.
