Synthesis, Crystal growth, Photoluminescence and thermal studies on inorganic nonlinear optical Barium Calcium Borate (BCB) Single Crystal

: In the present work, a nonlinear optical Barium Calcium Borate (BCB) single crystal was grown successfully by solution growth method. The crystals were obtained
from slow evaporation technique using water as a solvent. The photoluminescence study was employed to identify the luminescence nature of the grown crystal. The thermal analysis of the sample reveals that the BCB is stable up to 154oC.
